This is to inform your office that the 3lst Integrated Orientation and Updates to Republic Act No. 9709 and Category A Newborn Hearing Screening Personnel Certifying Course will be hosted by the Philippine National Ear Institute (PNEI) on December 16, 2018 (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) at Buenafe Auditorium, College of Medicine, University of the Philippines – Manila.

The orientation and updates to the said law are the lecture portion of the Category A Newbom Hearing Screening Personnel Certifying Course and is also a pre-requisite for non-screener or manager staff members of Hearing Centers such as Speech Therapists, Cochlear Implant Programmers, Development Pediatricians, Ear-Nose-Throat (ENT) Coordinators, and ENT Implant Surgeons.

In this regard, the Department of Health through Public Health Services Team hereby enjoin you to support and participate in the said activity.
